It seems like I now have a New Years Eve ritual. I first go out to Lands End and take sunset pictures, and then head up and take fireworks. Here is the last sunset of 2016, enjoy!

Today was a day off of work for me. Whenever we release a major version of our software, our team gets a day off. I decided to take the day and get my head into a better space. I achieved this between cleaning up my home office and shooting some flower porn. But today, the Hummingbirds were all out in force.

Testing out an FE 70-300 during a foggy sunset wasn’t the best idea. Couldn’t get the shutter fast enough to get many keepers of the pelicans. But some did come out well after spending some time in Photoshop.
